Wauseon Schools

Wauseon, Ohio

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project is the result of a joint development effort between En-Trust and Inovateus Solar.  The project demonstrates the commitment of Wauseon Schools to reduce energy costs, protect the environment, and provide valuable educational opportunities for their students to learn about renewable energy. The solar array was completed in August 2019. En-Trust, who provided energy efficiency upgrades and provided financial backing for the entire capital investment, will sell energy from the solar array to the school for a 25-year contract. The combined school’s energy output is rated at 1.2 MW DC (931.5kW at the middle school and 273.2 at the primary school). These solar arrays will produce over 525,126 kWh of energy per year.
