In 2012, Inovateus Solar finished construction of a 1.08-MW rooftop solar installation for Urban Energy. The facility is located in Yonkers, New York. Inovateus helped Urban Energy refit a new 2001 EPDM system roof atop the building, and then cover it with more than 3,751 Canadian Solar modules using Schletter racking over an area equivalent in size to two football fields.. The system ranks as one of largest rooftop solar installations in the greater New York City area.
