PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Elda Schools in Ohio installed two solar arrays at Elida Middle and Elida High School. This project is the result of a joint development effort between En-Trust and Inovateus Solar. The project demonstrates the commitment of Elida Schools to reduce energy costs, protect the environment, and provide valuable educational opportunities for their students to learn about renewable energy.
The solar array at Elida Middle School is rated at 602.6 kWDC and the 1,674 solar panels will produce over 708,000 kwh of clean energy per year. This will cover approximately 76% of the school’s energy demand. The array at Elida High School is made up of 4,104 solar panels and is a 1.47 MWDC system. This system will produce over 1,880,760 kW of clean energy annually and covers 74% of the school’s energy demand.
