Inovateus community, I’m pleased to welcome Mike Pound as Inovateus Solar’s new chief revenue officer (CRO.)
I first met Mike a few years ago at the Executive Forum meetings here in South Bend. We got to know each other, and he became very interested in what Inovateus was doing and we became aware of his unique skill set. More recently, Mike did some consulting for us and helped us streamline our quote and proposal process as well as offer input on our 2017 planning. One thing led to another, and we started talking to Mike about joining us on a full-time basis. Happily, he accepted our offer to join us.
We’re excited to have Mike on board. He’s a big-picture strategic thinker as well as an accomplished operations guy. He has years of experience across numerous industries putting strategies in place to expand businesses, identifying market challenges and opportunities, and helping the companies he’s worked with to achieve significant revenue and market share growth.
In his role as CRO, Mike will focus on charting our various revenue streams, devising and implementing strategies to increase and balance those streams. Whether it’s the engineering or EPC sides of the business, our burgeoning project ownership holdings, the supply/distribution unit, our growing operations and maintenance responsibilities, or our Kanzo commercial racking product, Mike will be taking a deep dive into how to maximize and diversify our revenues.
Like the rest of the Inovateus team, Mike has multiple interests outside of his passions for renewable energy and business strategy. He’s a family man, and loves to run and walk in the great outdoors or watch his favorite rugby teams compete. Mike is also active in Rotary International and other community organizations.
Mike joins Inovateus at an exciting time in the company’s quest to build a brilliant tomorrow and become one of the top U.S. solar developers/EPCs. We’ve recently commissioned two major utility installations, Kokomo Solar 1 and Rincon Solar 1, are nearing completion of the massive Lapeer solar project, and have begun construction on a series of solar parking canopies on the campus of Michigan State University. We have several other projects that will be announced in the near future.
Welcome aboard, Mike!
