“Merciful Minerva!” was a phrase I was happily familiar with as a child. At five years of age, I was glued to the television set every Tuesday evening to watch my heroine, Wonder Woman, take on the bad guys and utter those words at least once an episode. Whether it was a catastrophic event or an individual taking advantage of the less fortunate, Wonder Woman handled every situation with an icy demeanor and a fierceness that rivaled, if not eclipsed, her male superhero peers.
I learned a great deal from the character that I saw on screen, oh those many years ago. Many qualities that Wonder Woman exemplified have found their way into my own life. One of the biggest is the sense of stewardship that I feel for the world around us, and I bring that commitment to my job at Inovateus. I care about how we leave the world for our children and strongly believe that solar power offers a positive planetary solution for our collective future, so it was an easy leap from the qualities that Wonder Woman exuded to my spin on her unmistakable symbol for my “Solar Wonder” poster.
Just as she was a custodian of justice, so are we caretakers of Mother Earth. As stewards of this great world of ours, it is the aim of Inovateus to build a brilliant tomorrow for ourselves, our children, and generations to come. I like to think of our gift to the future as Megawatts of Solar Wonder.
