Employees tell the story of Inovateus Solar’s goal to build a brilliant tomorrow in company video

What makes Inovateus Solar different? First and foremost, it’s our people and their shared commitment to build a brilliant tomorrow via the proliferation of clean solar energy. We recently produced a corporate video that highlights many of our team members and lets them tell the story of the company, our history, our approach, our creativity, and our vision. We’ve divided the video into three segments, which we’ve embedded in this blog for your viewing pleasure.

For example, watch our fearless leader, TJ Kanczuzewski, describe Inovateus’ focus on innovation. “Our team really stays up to speed on the products that are in the marketplace,” he says. “We need to make sure we have the most efficient solar projects but also that we are learning about what’s coming next. Lately, it’s been energy storage, a great component that can team up with solar.”

Or check out Rex Singleton, our operations manager, explain how we engage with our customers at a deep level. “One of the things we are working hard to do in the engineering group, construction group, and customer service is to reach out to our customers,” he notes. “We’re actually taking the designs from the drawing board, not leaving the engineers in the office, but taking them out into the field and engaging with the subcontractors and the customers, making sure that the project design really meets their needs.”

The enthusiasm around Inovateus is palpable, something expressed nicely by Tyler Kanczuzewski, director of the company’s solar supply division. “Right now, I’m really excited about the direction we’re headed,” he says. “We’re in it for the long haul, and we want to continue building relationships and get to meet as many people in the solar industry as possible.”

Inovateus has come a long way from its beginnings as a Uni-Solar distributor. We’ve built up a strong network of partners and customers and are well on our way to developing and installing about 90 MW of utility and commercial solar projects in 2016, which will represent by far the biggest year in our history. And our supply business continues its steady growth, with a large base of customers in the Midwest region and beyond.

But we’re not stopping here. In the third video installment, watch Lindsey Foley, our VP of finance and administration, talk about what we call our “BHAG,” which stands for “big hairy audacious goal” to become a top 5 U.S. EPC for at least three years by 2025. We have gigawatt dreams–for Inovateus, the country and the world.

Don’t let our pleasant Midwestern demeanor lull you into thinking that we at Inovateus aren’t ambitious or that we don’t mean business. We just have a different, more collaborative way of doing business, achieving success, and profoundly changing the way energy is generated.
