Inovateus Solar has completed construction of Logansport Indiana’s first-ever solar power plant, shortly after decommissioning of 120 year old coal plant. Inovateus developed the installation for Logansport Municipal Utility (LMU). The project is being financed by a 30 year power purchase agreement (PPA), by Alchemy Renewable Energy. The array also includes up to 80 acres of pollinator habitat, in partnership with The Bee and Butterfly Habitat Fund. 75 percent of the construction waste was recycled, totaling 43.75 metric tons.
