PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The 2.055 MW Fork in the Road Solar Project is located in Milan, New York, and was developed on the town’s former municipal landfill and transfer station. Constructed by Inovateus Solar, the project transformed a closed and underutilized property into a productive renewable energy asset. Situated on a 6.4-acre site leased by the Town of Milan, the solar facility demonstrates how environmentally impacted land can be repurposed to support clean energy generation and long-term community benefits. The project features more than 3,700 solar panels and is expected to generate approximately 2,509 MWh of renewable electricity annually, enough to power roughly 341 homes. The energy produced by the facility is delivered to the Central Hudson distribution grid, helping expand access to community solar while supporting New York’s renewable energy goals.
