SOUTH BEND, IN – South Bend’s Inovateus Solar LLC is the title sponsor of the first-ever FlaSEIA Solar Power Open Golf Tournament being held at the Shingle Creek Golf Club in Orlando, Florida on Monday, Sept. 10. The tournament is hosted by the Florida Solar Energy Industries Association (FlaSEIA) and serves as the kick-off event for the 2012 Solar Power International conference (SPI 12), which runs from Sept. 10-13 at the Orange County Convention Center. Inovateus, a full-service solar project integrator, will also be exhibiting at the show.
“A while back we thought that SPI needed a golf tournament to kick off the show, so when we saw that FlaSEIA was already hosting an event, we knew we had to get involved,” said Inovateus President T.J. Kanczuzewski. “This is the perfect opportunity for SPI attendees and exhibitors to network with solar industry professionals from around the world. The industry needs more events like this where professionals can interact outside of the office and meetings, while taking in some fresh air.”
Solar Power International is North America’s premier business-to-business event for professionals in the solar energy industry and related fields attended by over 21,000 professionals from more than 100 countries. Approximately 1,100 companies from all across the solar power spectrum will exhibit on a 340,000 square-foot tradeshow floor.
“The fun won’t end after the tournament is over,” continued Kanczuzewski. “Golfers, show attendees, and exhibitors will have a chance to play the ‘19th hole’ at Inovateus Solar’s show booth (#309), and earn prizes or the opportunity to enter into a drawing to win a golf package for two to travel and play a round at a the newly designed Jack Nicklaus course, Harbor Shores, in Benton Harbor, Michigan.”
