A founding staff member of the company, TJ has been with Inovateus Solar since 2007. Driven by the Inovateus pledge to “Build A Brilliant Tomorrow,” he has been instrumental in developing a world-class solar team that has successfully deployed solar energy projects and products internationally. Under his leadership, Inovateus has been recognized as one of the “Best Places to Work in Indiana” by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce in 2014 and 2016. TJ was recently invited to the White House to participate in a special briefing on clean energy and also received the 2016 “Outstanding Young Business Leader” award by the St. Joseph County Chamber of Commerce. Among his business and community awards, TJ was honored as a 2013 “Forty Under 40” recipient for northern Indiana and southwest Michigan. He is also a board member of the Fernwood Botanical Garden. Before starting his career at Inovateus, TJ worked for General Growth Properties in Chicago. He graduated from Columbia College (Chicago) in 2004 with a BA in business management.
Lindsey Foley, CPA: Chief Financial Officer
Lindsey began working full-time at Inovateus in 2013, but she has worked closely with the company since 2009. She oversees financial reporting, manages the administration and accounting teams, and sits on Inovateus’ board of directors. Lindsey monitors all cash flows for the company and provides human resource and personnel support. Before joining Inovateus, she worked at Kruggel, Lawton & Company for six years, where she provided assurance services for clients in various industries in the form of audits, reviews, and compilations. Lindsey also participated in financial reporting services as well as tax preparation and planning. She graduated from Purdue University (Indiana) in 2008 with a BS in management and a certificate of advanced accountancy. Lindsey earned her certified public accountant designation in 2010.
John is accountable for day-to-day management of the company and the company’s profitability. In addition to the management of Inovateus’ core internal operations, he is responsible for staffing and projects in the field. Before joining Inovateus, he worked in Vice President and Senior Director roles within the technology space with multiple companies, including Uni-Solar, Hanwha SolarOne and Aspen Aerogels. John also has 10 years of management consulting experience with Fortune 500 companies, such as General Motors, Ford Motor Co., Delphi, Deloitte Consulting, Citigroup and Daimler LLC. John has a BA from Hillsdale College (Michigan) and an MBA from the University of Florida (Hough) Business School, and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Executive Leadership Program.
Michael F. Pound: Chief Revenue Officer
Mike joined Inovateus in March 2017 as the company’s chief revenue officer. He is responsible for developing and implementing strategies for increasing and balancing the multiple revenue streams of the company. He has 15 years of experience in the power generation and electrical contracting industries and has a passion for the solar and renewables business. During his career, Mike has held executive and managerial positions at Manufacturing Technology Inc., Rotary Friction Welding, General Sheet, AAA Tool and Die, BladeRoom, Koontz-Wagner Holdings (where he was CEO), and other industrial, aerospace and medical equipment firms. He holds a bachelor of technology with honors degree in production engineering and management from Loughborough University, England, and is a chartered engineer and member of the Institute of Engineering Technology.
Rex started with the company in 2012 working closely with project team members on quality and project closeout activities on a number of solar installations. Rex has over 28 years of experience in engineering/product development and plant management for various industries including the Recreational Vehicle and Plastics Industry. He also brings experience in Quality Management along with a background in Lean Manufacturing (5S, Value Stream Mapping, One-Piece Flow and the Elimination of Waste). Rex is responsible for overseeing Engineering, Quality, Health and Safety, and O&M. In addition, he heads all improvement projects aimed at office efficiency.
